In the Yalı Spor retail store project, executed by Yapı Tek Mimarlık in Karşıyaka, Izmir in 2003, we designed a modern retail space that reflects a dynamic sporting lifestyle. On the exterior facade, the contrast between white composite panels and warm wood textures created a strong and inviting storefront identity that perfectly integrates with the energy of the street. Within the multi-story interior layout, customer flow was flawlessly optimized by distinguishing the men's, women's, and children's departments through modern typographic signage and large glass panels. A spacious, functional, and contemporary shopping experience was achieved by implementing custom-designed backlit modular shelving systems that make the products the focal point, complemented by vibrant color accents and a transparent glass-balustrade staircase.
